Mr. Elma Brouwers-Bouwman graduated with excellent results in Dutch law from the University of Leiden in 1993 and was first sworn in as a lawyer in 1994. For many years she worked as a lawyer in general legal practice, after that mainly in administrative law, family law and criminal law.
Since 1 November 2019, she has chosen to focus her specialization on administrative law. The cases she handles mainly relate to the social domain (WMO / Youth, Participation Act, BRP Act), privacy law (AVG), WOB, social insurance law, WIA / Zw, as well as enforcement and environmental law (Wabo). She works for administrative bodies as well as for private individuals. Quality and energy are of paramount importance to her.

On the basis of this registration, she is obliged to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal area in accordance with the standards of the Netherlands Bar Association.”
