Dismissal law is often the biggest source of problems between employers and employees. Are you looking for a lawyer in the field of employment law? I Are you an employer?
As an employer you will inevitably have to deal with employment law disputes. You have to draw up employment contracts, you are confronted with dysfunctional or sick employees, you want to reorganize your company or you want to fire an employee, for example.
Employment law consists of several aspects. In practice, we see a lot of demand for supporting a works council and guiding a (collective) dismissal procedure for employers for economic reasons at the UWV. Instant dismissal for another urgent reason, such as theft or fraud, often also causes many problems in practice.
JAW Advocaten has years of experience with disputes in employment law and can assist you at all levels. Below you will find a list of the most common issues that you as an entrepreneur may be confronted with and where we can help you.
- Collective dismissal procedure for business reasons
- Problems in violation of relationship and non-competition clauses.
- Dismissal during probation
- Dismissal of sick or incapacitated employee
- Dismissal of a defective employee
- Dismissal due to protracted labor dispute
- Instant dismissal
- Dismissal by mutual consent via settlement agreement
II Are you an employee?
Employees enjoy extra protection according to the law because they are seen as the weaker party. For employees, this means, among other things, that an employer cannot simply fire you or transfer you to a new position. If you no longer feel safe with your employer, we advise you to engage an employment lawyer through JAW Advocaten.
Below are some examples of possible employment disputes where support from one of our lawyers is indispensable:
- Dismissal during (or after 2 years) illness
- Dismissal due to dysfunction
- Dismissal for Financial / Business Reasons
- Instant dismissal
- Termination of employment contract By mutual consent (settlement agreement)
- Your salary will not be paid
- Obligation to continue to pay wages during illness
- Physical injury during work
Therefore please direct contact with JAW Advocaten if an employment law dispute threatens.
