The lawyers of the Social Security section are mainly involved in advising and litigating in cases concerning the Participation Act, Unemployment Insurance Act (WW), Sickness Benefits Act (ZW), Work and Income according to Labor Capacity Act (WIA) and Wajong. In addition, we act in matters relating to child benefit, AOW and student finance.
Do you disagree with a decision by your municipality, the UWV, SVB or DUO? Please feel free to contact us for the possibilities. Please also enclose a copy of the decision, so we can easily make a preliminary assessment of your case.
Has your benefit ended incorrectly or are you faced with a cancellation or recovery? Has your application for benefits been rejected? The lawyers of the Social Security section can assist you (often pro bono). Related issues in which we can assist include:
- Requesting a temporary injunction;
- The rejection of your request for individual income support;
- The rejection of your request for special assistance.
Do you have a conflict with the UWV? For example, if your sickness benefit has ended or your WIA benefit has been changed or stopped, we can help you. We have experience in conducting various procedures in both objection and appeal.
The SVB has a rigid residence policy with regard to the right to child benefit and the right to AOW. This may mean that you are wrongly not awarded child benefit or AOW.
Do you have a dispute about your student debt or another decision by DUO? Then get advice from the lawyers of the Social Security Law Section.
